Shaza received her B.Sc in Biomedical Sciences at Damascus University, Syria. She got her M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Skoltech University, Russia. Shaza joined VRC as a Ph.D. student within SFB 1039. Her research focuses on long non-coding RNA in the cardiovascular system.
